Chiranjeevi next target for IT sleuths?
It seems likely. With the ruling government giving the nod to the IT department to assess the property of party workers and supporters the first casualty was union minister and film maker Dasari Narayana Rao. Dasari’s distribution company Siri Media, in Secunderabad, was raided on 19th March by IT officials. And the next target is likely to be actor Chiranjeevi, who insiders believe is evading taxes by diverting his earnings to his duty free Non profit organization, the Chiranjeevi Charitable Trust.

Film stars lineup to pay tax
With the IT department breaking loose on the film industry, some of the industry’s top earners made their way to the IT office to file in their returns. Topping the IT returns was actor Nagarjuna, who has reportedly paid a huge sum as taxes for his booming real estate business. Then there was Chiranjeevi, who along with son Ram Charan Teja and brother Pawan Kalyan paid the dues. Good friend Aswini Dutt followed suit as did actress Ileana who had just recently bought a property worth 1.75 crores at Lanco Hills.
