Srikanth 1 crore??

Actor Srikanth has entered the Crore-a-film bracket after he started charging Rs one crore for his upcoming ventures. The hike, it is believed, is the result of some bitter sour experiences that the amiable actor faced with his last couple of releases. Having not received his remuneration on time for his film Yamagola, Srikanth had a legal letter sent to the producers. Now in a ‘better late than sorry’ manner Srikanth has become quite insistent about being paid his due prior to a film’s release. One would wonder though that with his just released Nagaram falling flat at the box office will the producers be ready to pay such a heft amount?

Chiru's Sunrise on April 14th
It’s not going to be the Nayana-Puli story. The stage is all set for Chiranjeevi’s bungie jump into the rut of state politics – to take on the mighty Congress, a feat that comes next only to late NTR. Sources widely say the election symbol of Chiru’s party will be The Rising Sun. Karunanidhi’s DMK holds the same symbol in Tamilnadu. People are already aware of the earlier reports/rumors that Chiru’s camp tried for Eye symbol as its party symbol, but shelved the idea following EC prohibiting human organs as symbols. If there is no objection from any side, Rising Sun will be finalized, it is learnt. Meanwhile, the fresh date for Chiru’s political launch is fixed as April 14th

X Exams might delay Jalsa release
The screen-hit of Jalsa might be changed from the last week of March to the first week of April, unconfirmed sources maintained. This Allu Arvind-produced, Trivikram Srinivas-directed and Devi Sri Prasad-scored film has already generated much heat in the industry, raising the levels of expectation in the wake of serial non-performers since the start of 2008, barring a couple of films. The reason for this possible date-shift for Jalsa release is said to be X Class examinations, which will conclude in April first week

Last month a Vizag magistrate had dismissed all charges against Pawan Kalyan saying that there was no substantial evidence proving that the actor had married actress Renu Desai before his divorce with Nandini had been finalized, there by amounting to bigamy. Chiranjeevi and his family members were given 4 weeks time to appear before the high court magistrate and respond to the charges leveled against them.
