Jalsa in 1000 theatres

Jalsa, the much-awaited film of Pawan Kalyan, is gong to release in more than one thousand theatres all over the world on March 28th. In Hyderabad, the movie is releasing in 55 theatres, which happens to be the rare record. With almost all the films released this year, except Krishna of Ravi Teja, getting bombed at the box office, the phenomenon brought unhappiness to all segments of the film industry. Moreover, its audio with music scored by Devi Sri Prasad is making waves in the music world, selling unprecedented number of cassettes and CDs, starting the rain of cash. Mahesh Babu's voiceover in the film to introduce hero Pawan Kalyan is expected to bring more hype to Jalsa

Big directors' Suspense thrillers
The success of eerie films like A Film By Arvind, Anukokunda Oka Roju and Mantra seems to have prompted many a young director to direct his attention towards suspense thrillers. Coming in this category are none other than big names Puri Jagannath and Krishnavamsi. Sources said, Puri Jagan is trying to make an out and out hair-splitting suspense thriller with his brother Sairam Shankar (who doesn't have a minimum hit till date) and the film is tentatively titled Chachhipothe. Similarly, Krishnavamsi is said to have prepared a script, giving importance to the subject life after death, with tentative titles as Rudraksha or Atma.

Prabhu to pair with Rajini in “Kucheludu”
Superstar Rajinikanth is reported to have asked Prabhu to act in ‘Kucheludu’. Role will be of a vital done by Mukesh in the original movie ‘Katha Parayumbol’. Prabhu is said to have agreed. Like chandramuki, In terms of story size and cast Kucheludu is getting bigger than its Malayalam counterpart “Katha Parayumbol”.

Siddarth-Soha paint the town red

South actor Siddarth and Hindi film actress Soha Ali Khan(younger sister of Saif Ali Khan) are being seen painting the town red. The two youngsters who met on the sets of the BAFTA nominated Rang De Basanti had long been denying their romance and were mouthing the oft used ‘we-are-just-friends’ phrase. But now it seems they do not care anymore. Siddarth, who recently divorced his first wife, was spotted getting cosy with Soha at a restaurant in Mumbai’s Bandra locality. Also seen sharing a lunch with them were singer Shaan and actress Riya Sen. The group kept largely to themselves and onlookers say that Soha and Siddarth were quite oblivious of others. Just friends?
