When Boys kissed that Hero
"Of course, I might be late. Say, I am late. But, I am coming the latest," says Nikhil, one of the four heroes of Happy Days of Sekhar Kammula. He told Filmchamber.com that he was not in a hurry to catch stardom, but to prove himself as a good actor. It is of interest to note that immediately after the release of Happy Days, all the starcast, male or female, except Nikhil, were busy opening commercial outlets in city. They also held individual press meets and gave interviews. Accompanied by their parents or wellwishers, they met many a producer with their profiles. But, Happy Days is considered more as a Sekhar Kammula film rather than throwing credit on the starcast. Gradually, all of them are coming out of the hangover, gaining ground of their own! Now, Nikhil is the last and latest to emerge out of his shell.
Meanwhile, Nikhil says: "Yes. I heard that girls liked my characterisation in the film very much. But, I can say even boys liked me well. They also kissed me." Keep it up, Nikhil.
Ankith, Pallavi & Friends ready
The new film curiously titled Ankith, Pallavi & Friends, starring Nikhil (one of the heroes of Happy Days) and Megha Barman (who did Bru ad), has completed its shoot. The film is produced and directed by US-returned Hari Yelleti. A press meet was organized at a star hotel in city last night. The film mainly dwells on the subject of psychological struggle. Yelleti floated a new banner naming it as Innovision for this purpose.

Hero Nikhil said: “Till now, I am identified as Rajesh, the name of the character that I played in Happy Days. After the release of this film, the audience will call me as Ankith. I told this story to Sekhar Kammula also. He assured me that this role will make me a Sharukh Khan in Tollywood.”
The star cast included Naresh, Satish, Venu, Surya, Sudeepa, Sri Latha, Revathi and others. Music is by Vinu Thomas. Editing is by Marthand K. Venkatesh.
